Jagersbo Kennels was
registered with the American Kennel Club in 1928. The
name "Jagersbo" actually means "Hunter's
Home" in Danish.
Our devotion to the sport
of dogs has been a lifelong experience, beginning with Erik
Bergishagen, Sr. Soon after he arrived from Denmark in 1922,
Erik Sr. began importing and breeding English Setters and
Pointers. The kennel remains to this day a family owned
business.

The actual kennel, as it
stands, was built in 1935 with the belief that dogs flourish
in an environment with plenty of outdoor access, sunshine
and fresh air. We are one of the few indoor / outdoor kennels left in the area.
Over the years, we have
remodeled and updated our
facilities in order to give our boarders the best amenities
that we possibly can. Our family and staff have enormous
amounts of dog sense and experience that help us to provide
our boarders with thoughtful and considerate care.
You will often see owners being
dragged from their cars to our front door by their pets.
There are no better recommendations than those from our
beloved pets.
