Canine parvovirus attacks the
gastrointestinal system. Symptoms include loss of appetite,
vomiting, fever, and severe, bloody diarrhea. Severe
dehydration can set in 48 - 72 hours and death can quickly
follow if left untreated. There is no immediate cure for
Parvovirus. The usual course of treatment is veterinary supportive care.
